1. Username: This is your full email address (e.g. johndoe@XXXX.com)
2. Password: This is your password that was generated & provided to you, or that you’ve changed/updated on your own
Mobile Email Setup Tutorial (Android & iPhone)
REMEMBER:
(Note for iOS & Android Users: I recommend using a different email client like “Microsoft Outlook for iOS/Android” to access your email, as there have been some connection issues when using the stock mail email clients/applications.)
– Now supporting POP3 & IMAP! (IMAP being the better option)
– Incoming Server Settings: box3077.bluehost.com
– Outgoing Server Settings: box3077.bluehost.com
Server Ports
– Incoming Server Port: 993
– Outgoing Server Port: 465
iPhone Tutorial (Native Mail Client/App ONLY)
1. Tap Settings
2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Add Mail Account
4. Choose Other
5. Enter your Name
6. Enter your email address as the Address
7. Enter the password for your email address
8. Tap Next
Incoming Server:
9. Host Name: box3077.bluehost.com
10. User Name: Your email address.
11. Password: The password for your email address.
Outgoing Server:
12. Host Name: box3077.bluehost.com
13. User Name: This is required and again is your email address.
14. Password: The password for your email address.
15. Tap Next.
16. Once logged in, go back into settings for this account (Step 6 in image slider above)
17. Select Outgoing Mail Server “SMTP” field.
18. Select “Primary Server” field.
19. Ensure “box3077.bluehost.com Server” field is set to “ON”
20. Ensure Host Name, User Name, & Password fields are completely filled out.
21. Ensure SSL field is set to “ON”
22. Select “Authentication” field.
23. Click “Password” to select that field.
24. Click back or “box3077.bluehost.com” button in top left corner to go back.
25. Click the “Done” button in the top right corner.
26. Once you're back at the main "Account" page, scroll to the bottom and select the "Advanced" tab.
27. Under the "Mailbox Behaviors" section, click the "Drafts Mailbox" tab, then select the "Drafts" folder tab under the "On The Server" section.
28. Repeat this same step directly above for the following server folders: "Sent Mailbox" & "Deleted Mailbox".
29. Go back to the main "Account" page and click "Done" in the upper right corner.
*This should complete the accurate setup of your personal email account on your iOS mobile device.
Android Tutorial (Native Mail Client/App ONLY)
1. Tap Settings
2. Tap Add Account
3. Tap Email
4. Enter your email address as the Address
5. Enter the password for your email address
6. Select IMAP
Incoming Server:
7. Host Name: box3077.bluehost.com
8. Click Next
Outgoing Server:
9. Host Name: box3077.bluehost.com
10. Click Next
11. Enter a name for that email account
12. Enter your name the way you want it to be displayed to others when they receive emails from you
13. Click Finish
*This should complete the accurate setup of your personal email account on your Android mobile device.
